As well as making the glazes for the raku, I produce a range of stoneware suns and large tiles, for the decoration of your house or other buildings. These items are all frostproof unless otherwise mentioned. See links above.

I have been growing cacti and unusual succulents for many years, I like to grow plants from seed, but also from time to time purchase plants and have been given many to rescue over the years, some of these have survived and done quite well, others have died, such is the way of cacti. All bar one of the pachypodiums here were grown from seed, the parodias were mostly got as tiny seedlings fromRalph Martin a few years ago, they are amazing little plants, growing very slowly and flowering profusely every year. I subscribe to the cacti_etc mailing list, a forum for cactus lovers like myself. If you are interested I recommend you to visit the Cactus Mall, which contains links and information to satisfy your curiosity. See the links above for some pictures from my greenhouse.

I also have an allotment, in fact I have had it for over 20 years now, it can be really hard work when the weather is hot and dry, but we usually get some pretty good crops from it, regardless of the weather.
The allotment is a marvellous place to spend those long warm summer evenings, just listening to the birds, and watching what is going on in the pond.
Follow the pictures link above for some new pictures from the allotments.

And here are some bees from the local hives taking water in my water butt, using the duckweed to support themselves.
