Ceramics
London is full of strange things, they lurk round every corner waiting to be seen, and if you are fortunate enough to have a camera about your person, you can record them for posterity... whatever that may be.
Here are a few things I have noticed over the last few years, more will be added as I come across them.
The Buddha of Blackfriars, in a yard off Blackfriars Road
The Gherkin seen from New Cross Gate station, 2008, before the new Overground flyover was put in.
An ancient ad for rubber mats, exposed after an advertising hoarding disappeared, Wandsworth Road, summer 2010.
A long deserted signal box, Tower Hill.
Sunset, looking down the Cut, from Southwark Station, 1 November 2007.
Some older stuff, black and white originals, giclee prints available, enquire
Brough Superior, was in a shed in West Norwood for some years, taken in 1979.
A rather squished MG, Battersea 1985.
Sunset from the kitchen window 16th August
A pair of signs outside Surrey Quays Station directing you to the ELC replacement bus
that ran during the period when the Overground was being built on the old East London Line.
These signs are probably the only reminder of those days.
